Safety

Ivywood is dedicated to maintaining a strong partnership with our school community and supporters in our effort to provide the very best education for students. The key to that partnership is open communication regarding safety.

School safety is our top priority. We have extensive school safety policies and wanted to share a few highlights.

  • All building doors are locked.
  • All guests need to request entry electronically outside of the building and are remotely screened at the front desk before gaining entry to the building.
  • All screened and approved visitors sign in and wear a specific badge, identifying them as a visitor of the school.
  • All staff have received a background check and volunteers receive a background check before they work with students.
